Various Items for Sale by Offer

Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council invites offers from individuals and organisations for various items available for sale by auction, including:
- Passenger vehicles
- Trucks
- Forklift
- Lawn mower
- Woodworking equipment
- Mechanical workshop equipment
- Insulation material
- Open Space Services equipment
- Conditions of Sale
All items are sold "as is, where is" in the condition they are found on the day of inspection. By submitting an offer, the offerer indemnifies Council from any liability and accepts responsibility for all visible and discoverable defects, as well as any hidden defects not reasonably discoverable through inspection. Vehicles, plant and equipment are sold unregistered, and Council makes no warranty regarding their condition or fitness for purpose. Any registration plates displayed are for identification purposes only and are deemed invalid.
Prospective buyers can inspect the items for sale at the following locations between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on 6 August 2026.

Offer forms will be available at each of the above locations.
Completed offer forms must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Council Offices:
3 Muni Street,
Hope Vale QLD 4895.
Submission Times
Forms will be accepted only between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
Successful Offers
Successful offerers will be notified by Council in writing. Council is not bound to accept the highest offer, or indeed any offer, and reserves the right to reject any or all offers received.
