Council’s Essential Services Team is carrying out essential flushing of the town water mains on 12 June 2026.
During this process, some consumers may experience increased turbidity (temporary discolouration of water).
The work is expected to be completed within one day.
What to do if affected
If you notice discoloured water, please run your taps for a short time until the water runs clear.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your understanding while this important maintenance is undertaken.
