Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council advises that the Hope Vale Cemetery Digital Map is now live.
From now on, when a person passes away and a burial at the Hope Vale Cemetery is being arranged, the family representative or funeral director is required to contact Council and complete a Notification of Death and Proposed Burial Form.
The form must be completed and provided to Council before the burial takes place. This will allow Council to record the burial correctly, allocate and confirm the gravesite, update the Cemetery Digital Map and prepare the Right of Interment Certificate.
This process applies to all future burials at the Hope Vale Cemetery.
If you notice any information in the Cemetery Digital Map that is incorrect, or if you would like to provide additional information, please contact Council so the register can be updated.
