Council’s maintenance contractor will undertake the essential replacement of the chlorine dosing panel at the Water Treatment Plant on 3 November 2026.
During these works, the community will rely on water stored in the reservoirs at the hill. While every effort will be made to complete the replacement without interruption, any unforeseen issues during the works may result in a temporary disruption to the community’s water supply.
The replacement of the chlorine dosing panel will improve the reliability and sustainability of the chlorination system and address ongoing maintenance issues experienced by the Essential Services team, particularly during summer power outages.
Council apologises for any inconvenience that may arise and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while these important improvements are undertaken.
